WHAT CAN I PURCHASE FROM OXFORD JOURNALS?

Oxford Journals can provide journal subscriptions, single issues from the current and previous two years and pay-per-view access to individual articles.

WHAT CAN'T I PURCHASE FROM OXFORD JOURNALS?

Oxford Journals holds stock of journals from the current and previous two years (e.g. during 2009 we will hold stock from 2007 onwards). If the issue you wish to purchase was published before then, please contact:

We are not able to supply single, print copies of individual articles to personal customers. However, articles are available from the Document Supply Centre at a copyright library (your local library should be able to advise you). HOW TO PURCHASE SUBSCRIPTIONS AND SINGLE ISSUES ONLINE

Step one - selecting the product you want to purchase
From our homepage, select the journal you're interested in and hit the 'BUY ONLINE' button. Click the 'New Subscription' link. Select the appropriate 'Add to Basket' button for the product you require.

Step two - shopping basket
After hitting 'Add to Basket' you'll be taken to your shopping basket. From here you can alter the quantity of copies you wish to receive and remove any items you no longer wish to purchase. Please note that the price displayed in your basket will default to £GBP. This may change later when we have taken your shipping and billing addresses. If you are happy with the contents of your basket, click 'Proceed to Checkout'.

Step three - checkout
At this stage you will be asked for a username and password. If you have already registered with Oxford Journals before, please enter the username and password you chose at that time. Otherwise, please select the 'Click here to register as a new user with Oxford Journals' section. After logging in or registering, please follow the on screen instructions to confirm your delivery and billing address.

Step four - payment
Once you have completed your card details, click 'Confirm & Place Credit Card Order'. Your card details will be submitted and an email will be sent to you confirming your order and giving instructions for online access if applicable.

HOW TO PURCHASE TEMPORARY ONLINE ACCESS TO INDIVIDUAL ARTICLES

If you do not hold a journal subscription or the content you are trying to access is from before 1996, you may order 24 hour online access to an article via HighWire Press. Once you have found the article you wish to view, click either the 'Full Text' or 'Full Text (PDF)' link. At this point you will be asked for a username and password. If you have already registered at My Account, please enter the details you chose. If you have not registered before, please click the 'register' link. Don't worry about navigating away from the article, our system will take you back to it after you have finished registering. Please note that as Highwire Press is based in the United States, all prices quoted will be in $USD. A full price list is available at:

2009 PAYMENT TERMS

All subscriptions (including those for online titles) are accepted and entered on a complete volume basis only. Subscriptions commence with the first issue of the current year and expire in December with issues already published sent on receipt of payment.

Our prices include Standard Air as postage outside of the UK.

Orders are regarded as firm and, after the first issue of the volume has been dispatched, subscription payments are not refundable.

Claims for missing issues should be made within four months of publication or date of order (whichever is later).

All 2009 orders delivered outside Europe and North America will be renewed and invoiced in GBP Sterling.

Full pre-payment in the correct currency is required for all orders. Payment should be in US dollars for orders being delivered to US or Canada; Euros for orders being delivered within Europe (excluding the UK); GBP sterling for orders being delivered elsewhere (i.e. not being delivered to US, Canada, or Europe). All orders should be accompanied by full payment and sent to your nearest Oxford Journals office.

The following methods of payment are accepted:

By cheque in £ sterling drawn on a UK bank, € euro drawn on a European bank, or in $ US drawn on a US bank. Cheques should be made payable to Oxford Journals. All orders should be accompanied by full payment and sent to your nearest Oxford Journals office.

By bank transfer to Barclays Bank Plc, Oxford Group Office, Oxford (bank sort code: 20-65-18) (UK). Overseas only: SWIFT BARC GB 22.

TAX

The VAT number for Oxford Journals is GB 195 27 53 34. Please ensure that this number is noted for all transactions where it is required.

All subscriptions in Canada are subject to a Goods and Service Tax. Please add 5% to the prices quoted. Subscriptions in the EU may be subject to European VAT. If you are registered, please supply details to avoid unnecessary charges.
