The www.oxfordjournals.org website was redesigned in 2005 in order to achieve WAI level A compliance, as well as compliance with the US Rehabilitation Act Section 508 (1998). Many pages comply with level AA compliance, but we cannot yet guarantee this for all content.
Content hosted by our online publishing partner (HighWire) complies with WAI level A checkpoints. A redesigned hosting platform is in development which will provide enhanced compliance including XHTML.
The Oxford Journals site is usable by all browsers that support W3C recommendations such as HTML/XHTML, Cascading Stylesheets (CSS), and the Document Object Model (DOM).
