The CIPRO database provides comprehensive experimental and computational analytical results relatin to the Ciona intestinalis proteome. Data for each protein are summarized in graphically for a quick overview of all available information. Experimental data include 2D gel images, expression over developmental stages and tissues, and time-lapse data from developing embryos with gene expression data. Computational results include homology, secondary and three dimensional structure predictions, motifs, subcellular localization, transmembrane prediction, mendelian inheritance information of human homologue and gene ontology. CIPRO also provides tools for user data and accessibility, including full text search for any text fields, homology, 2D gel image, and peptide mass fingerprints.
