Oxford Journals announces further partnership with European Society of Cardiology
12 February 2008Today Oxford Journals and the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) announced a new publishing partnership for the European Journal of Echocardiography, starting in 2008. This will be the fourth of the ESC’s titles to join Oxford Journals, following European Heart Journal in 2005, Europace in 2006, and Cardiovascular Research, which is also being launched by Oxford Journals for 2008.
The European Journal of Echocardiography is the official journal of the European Association of Echocardiography, a registered branch of the European Society of Cardiology. It publishes high-quality, peer-reviewed articles on the ultrasonic examination of the cardiovascular system, including ischaemic heart disease, valve disease, cardiomyopathy, congenital heart disease, and vascular disease.“We are very pleased to be publishing this important fourth title from the ESC”, commented Mandy Hill, Editorial Director at Oxford Journals.
“We have worked successfully together on developing other ESC titles that we publish, and look forward to collaborating further with the ESC to maximise the potential of the European Journal of Echocardiography. As with all of our society journals, we offer the journal the highest quality publishing services and a personal approach.”
One immediate benefit for readers of the European Journal of Echocardiography is that they will have access to toll-free reference links to other journals hosted on the HighWire platform, including European Heart Journal, Journal of the American Medical Association, and New England Journal of Medicine.
