OUP develops new economics and finance journal collection
20 May 2010Oxford Journals, a division of Oxford University Press (OUP), has developed a new Economics & Finance Collection which allows customers to subscribe to a customized selection of journals to suit the research needs of their organization.
The collection includes several journals that cover the entire subject field, as well as specialized journals targeting areas including finance, development economics, agricultural economics, environmental economics, and law and economics. It includes several of the highest-impact journals in the field, including - from 2011 - The Quarterly Journal of Economics and The Review of Economic Studies, two of the oldest and most prestigious journals in economics, which will move to OUP next year.Other key titles in the collection are The Review of Financial Studies, The World Bank Economic Review, The American Journal of Agricultural Economics, The Journal of Law, Economics and Organization, and Journal of Economic Geography. Several journals have a policy focus and a less-technical style that makes them more accessible, including Oxford Review of Economic Policy and Review of Environmental Economics and Policy.
Martin Green Senior Publisher for Economics Journals at Oxford University Press, said: 'OUP's economics and finance journals programme has grown considerably over recent years. From 2011 we will be publishing more than twenty-five journals in economics broadly-defined. Given the size and quality of our content in this area, it seemed natural for us to create an economics and finance journals collection to complement our other subject collections, and better serve the needs of the finance and economics community.’
