About the Journal

Applied Economic Perspectives and Policy provides a forum to address contemporary and emerging policy issues within an economic framework that informs the decision-making and policy-making community.

AEPP's aim is to stimulate linkages between subfields of agricultural and applied economics that are consistent with the AAEA's mission and that illuminate and focus future research to increase knowledge about public policy.

AEPP welcomes submissions related to the economics of public policy themes associated with agriculture, international development, energy, environment, food and consumer behavior, health, natural resources, population and migration, and regional and rural development.

Each issue of the journal publishes perspectives articles, specifically solicited by the editors that focus on selected themes of interest, and submitted articles.
