The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking an exceptional candidate to develop and lead a rigorous program to manage, model and analyze data on disease burden and economic impact to be used to support research and development priority setting and related biomedical research policy formulation.

The Public Health Burden Branch (PHBB) serves as a central repository and analytic unit for comprehensive data analyses on the current and future health of the public. The Branch also serves as the locus for special economic analysis capability for the NIH Office of the Director and for advice and collaboration on economic analyses throughout the NIH.
