Partner Journals
Plant science in China is expanding rapidly and growing in importance for the wider botanical community. Much of this science is now published in English language journals originating in China itself. Annals of Botany believes this high quality literature should be as widely read as possible and that scientists outside China also contribute to these journals. In this way, the rising number of plant biology papers will become shared and utilized equitably across the international scene.
To help achieve this end Annals of Botany currently offers its readers easy access to two botanical journals originating from the Chinese Academy of Sciences' Botanical Institute in Beijing. These are The Journal of Plant Ecology and The Journal of Integrative Plant Biology (formerly Acta Botanica Sinica). Readers of these journals online will also enjoy facilitated access to papers in Annals of Botany. It is hoped that these actions will help plant scientists everywhere become more familiar and appreciative of the work of their colleagues both within and outside China.
