Taylor A. Steeves Award
We are very pleased that Chris Meyer's paper in the March 2009 issue, "Environmental effects on the maturation of the endodermis and multiseriate exodermis of Iris germanica roots", has won the Taylor A. Steeves Award from the Canadian Botanical Association for the best paper published in plant development, structure or morphology. The competition for this award is open to students studying at a Canadian institution and also to Canadian students studying abroad. We congratulate Chris on this achievement, and we are happy to make the paper free access.
