Read up on Aggregate Demand Policies for FREE

On his blog, Economist's View, Mark Thoma recently commented on The Great Multiplier Debate -

"Nobody, or hardly anybody, was asking questions about the use of fiscal policy to stabilize the economy. Hence very few models were built to look at this issue."

While it is true that a majority of the economics profession concentrated on monetary policy issues, fiscal policy has been an active research area especially among European macroeconomists. In 2005, CESifo Economic Studies published a Special Issue (Volume 51, Number 4, 2005) on Aggregate Demand Policies.

To give easy access to this research, Oxford Journals is delighted to make this issue freely available to all readers.
