'The Resilient Region'(Editors: Susan Christopherson, Jonathan Michie, Peter Tyler)
The goal of this issue is to put together a set of papers that represent different perspectives on and approaches to the concept of regional “resilience”. Because the concept is being used across a range of disciplines, the issue is likely to attract wide attention and to contribute to both conceptual and methodological debates.
We encourage papers that push the literature in new directions and particularly work that blends a theoretical dimension with a strong empirical elaboration. Since this is a special topic issue, articles are selected based on their quality and coverage of the topic itself as well as fitting with other selected papers.
