Epidemiologic Reviews, a sister publication of the American Journal of Epidemiology, is devoted to publishing comprehensive and critical reviews on specific themes once a year. The 2009 issue, to be published in the summer of 2009, will address the topic of health disparities. This issue will cover a variety of topics, including:

Socioeconomic factors
Geographic factors
International variations
Differences in access to medical services
Differences in insurance coverage
