Call for manuscripts: Ageing

CALL FOR PAPERS


Epidemiologic Reviews is a sister publication of the American Journal of Epidemiology. It is devoted to publishing comprehensive and critical reviews on specific themes once a year. The theme of the 2013 issue (Volume 35) will be ageing.

Submission of manuscripts is now solicited on topics such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, social isolation, chronic diseases, physical disabilities, frailty, health care and health services, disparity, longevity, biomarkers of aging, “positive” ageing phenotypes, co-morbidity, and interventions. The application of randomized controlled trials in ageing would also be of interest. Please note that papers on other aspects of ageing are also welcome.

Manuscripts can be up to 6,000 words exclusive of the abstract, tables, figures, and references. Give explicit details of the method of literature search, and use systematic reviews or meta-analysis when appropriate.
