ZNA Middelheim hospital (Antwerp, Belgium) is part of the Hospital Network of Antwerp. That network disposes of 1800 beds. The department of Cardiology consists of three large divisions: Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology and Non-invasive Cardiology, including a heart failure clinic and a cardiac revalidation. The department of Cardiology of ZNA Middelheim invites applications for three positions of full time postgraduate fellows, as (m/f):

postgraduate fellow in clinical and interventional electrophysiology
You are a recognized specialist in cardiology with competent skills in non-invasive clinical cardiology and a specific interest in rhythmology. The 2 year full time fellowship consists of: learning skills in diagnostic and therapeutic interventional electrophysiology and device implantations (PM,ICD,CRT), collaborating in clinical trials, consulting non-invasive rhythmological activities such as rhythmological rounds, device follow-up consultations and outpatient rhythmology clinic.

postgraduate fellow in interventional cardiology
You are a recognized specialist in cardiology. Preference will be given to a candidate with some practical experience in diagnostic invasive cardiology. The 2 year full time fellowship consists of: learning skills in interventional cardiology, collaborating in clinical trials, conducting an own scientific program with emphasis on radiological imaging techniques, consulting non-invasive activities to a limited degree.


postgraduate fellow in clinical cardiology with special interest in non-invasive cardiac imaging and heart failure
You are a recognized specialist in cardiology with consistent skills and experience in clinical cardiology and cardiac echo-doppler. The 2 year fellowship consists of: development of a research program in cardiac imaging, development of a research program in heart failure, clinical activities in echo-lab and in a multi-disciplinary heart failure unit.
