It was launched in 2007 in partnership with the Human Rights Center at the University of California, Berkeley. Founding Editors: Nahla Valji (Managing Editor, 2005-2011), Dr Hugo van der Merwe (Co-Editor-in-chief, 2006-present) and Professor Harvey M. Weinstein (Co-Editor-in-chief, 2006-2010).
