Nelson Prize
Richard R. Nelson Award
The Richard R. Nelson Award is awarded every two years to the best paper, alternatively, in the academic journals Industrial and Corporate Change (Oxford University Press) and Research Policy (Elsevier). Representatives from the head editors of both journals act as judges for the best paper with a tilt towards younger scholars. The award includes the prize of $2,500. The choice of journals reflects Professor Richard Nelson's favorites in the scholarly fields to which he has made major contributions.
The award for 2007 was awarded to Daniel Beunza and David Stark for their article, "Tools of the Trade: The Socio-Technology of Arbitrage in a Wall Street Trading Room", Industrial and Corporate Change 13:3 (2004).
