Ochsner Health System in NEW ORLEANS is seeking a DIRECTOR for the OCHSNER CANCER INSTITUTE. Applicants should be board-certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology, or an Oncology related specialty, with previous administrative experience preferred. Active involvement in clinical or translational research is required.
We are the leading clinical oncology research site in our region of the Gulf South with exciting opportunities for expansion. We will break ground for additional facilities in the near future. Our new 100k sq. ft. Cancer Center will house a multidisciplinary cancer clinic, radiation oncology, infusion services, and the clinical research program. An active basic science research program is in place.
Our growing Department of Hematology and Oncology includes 11 physicians. The clinical research program includes a CCOP with cooperative group trial through ECOG, NSABP, NCCTG, and RTOG as well as institutional and pharmaceutical sponsored trials. We have an active Medical Oncology training program.
