Post Doctoral Research position in molecular epidemiology
The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center has a funded Post Doctoral Research position immediately available in molecular epidemiology. The position is to pursue specialized research in a group led by Maura Gillison MD PhD that focuses on the relationship between HPV and head and neck cancer and has a broad focus of investigation, from large cohort and cross-sectional studies of oral HPV infection to molecular analysis of predictors of response to molecular-based therapeutics.

The successful applicant will conduct independent research under the guidance of his/her scientific mentor focused on investigating associations between infections and cancer; develop, adopt, and implement experimental methods related to molecular-epidemiological studies; lead manuscript and assist in grant preparation; participate in collection and analysis of data for reports and publications; present information in institutional and national meetings.

Education/Experience - PhD in epidemiology, molecular epidemiology, biostatistics or related field; Preference given to those that apply and have experience in epidemiologic study design, statistical analysis and validation of molecular-epidemiological assays.
