Director of Cancer Outreach and Community Education
The Stanford University Medical Center’s NCI-designated Cancer Center, in conjunction with its partner the Northern California Cancer Center, is holding an open search for a faculty position to serve as Director of Cancer Outreach and Community Education. This position is open at the associate or full professor level. Candidates should have either an MD or PhD degree or both.
The successful candidate will have an outstanding record of research in cancer in the areas of public health, public policy, prevention, outcomes, and/or cancer education. A strong track record of leadership experience developing and executing outreach activities, and partnering with community based-organizations, community leaders, and oncologists is critical. This position reports to the Associate Director of Clinical Research, and works closely with SCC and the NCCC leadership and all members of both organizations. Salary will be commensurate with the level of employment, relevant experience, and accomplishments.
