Social Forces Highly Cited Articles

According to the recently released 2015 Journal Citation Reports® (Thomson Reuters, 2016), Social Forces has an Impact Factor of 1.736 and a 5-year Impact Factor of 2.588. This places the journal 28/142 in Sociology.

The Impact Factor is a ratio of citations to articles published, and it shows the average number of times recent articles in Social Forces were cited within the relevant year (2015). The five-year Impact Factor is calculated in the same way as the standard Impact Factor, except the standard two-year window for inclusion of articles is extended to five years.
