SER Annual Prize Announcement
Annual prize for best article
Socio-Economic Review announces an annual prize of $1,000 for the best article published in each volume . The first award ─ for articles that appeared in the 2007 volume ─ will be presented at the July 2008 SASE meeting in San Jose, Costa Rica.
Prize-winning article
For 2007, the prize was awarded to Marc Schneiberg of Reed College for his article in Volume 1 Issue 1: Institutional change in the US economy.

Runners-up
Close runners-up were the articles by Bruce Kaufmann of Georgia State, on the institutional economics of John R. Commons (also Issue No. 1); and by Mary O'Sullivan, on institutional change in the French financial system (Issue No. 3).
