About the Journal
New to Oxford Journals in 2011, the Yearbook of European Law seeks to promote the dissemination of ideas and provide a forum for legal discourse in the wider area of European law. It is committed to the highest academic standards and to providing informative and critical analysis of topical issues accessible to all those interested in legal studies. It reflects diverse theoretical approaches towards the study of law. YEL publishes contributions in the following broad areas: the law of the European Union, the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights, related aspects of international law, and comparative laws of Europe.
From 2011, YEL will benefit from a number of additional features made possible by online publication:
Publish ahead of print - Articles will appear online throughout the year, granting subscribers immediate access to the latest developments in both HTML and PDF formats, without needing to wait for the print volume
Email alerts - Anyone can sign up to receive YEL content alerts - both of the annual volume and of content published throughout the year
Searchable archive - the entire archive back to 1996 will be made available to YEL subscribers
From 2011, YEL will be available as online only, print only, or combined print and online subscriptions from Oxford Journals. Combined and online subscriptions also provide full access to the archive back to 1996.
