The Journal of Competition Law & Economics is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to
competition law and policy, including developments in the United States, the European
Union, and other regions and nations. Since it was founded in 2004, JCLE has become
the preeminent international journal on antitrust.

September 2011
September's two Law Journals of the Month were Human Rights Law Review and
International Journal of Law, Policy and the Family.
Human Rights Law Review promotes awareness, knowledge, and discussion on matters of
human rights law and policy. The Review publishes critical articles that consider
human rights in their various contexts, from global to national levels, book reviews,
and a section dedicated to analysis of recent jurisprudence and practice of the UN
and regional human rights systems.
The International Journal of Law, Policy and the Family comprises the following:

policy literature of special interest to law and the family; and literature in

August's two Law Journals of the Month were International Journal of Refugee Law and
Journal of Conflict and Security Law.
The International Journal of Refugee Law has fulfilled its promise, as predicted by the
Times Higher Education Supplement, in becoming one of the key source materials in the
field of refugee protection. The journal serves as an essential tool for all engaged in the
protection of refugees and finding solutions to their problems. It regularly provides key

June's two Law Journals of the Month were Medical Law Review and Statute Law Review.
The Medical Law Review presents articles of international interest which provide thorough

expanding area of law. The Journal is established as an authoritative source of reference for

healthcare and the law.
Statute Law Review provides a vehicle for the consideration of the legislative process,
the use of legislation as an instrument of public policy and of the drafting and interpretation
of legislation. The Review, which was first established in 1980, is the only journal of its kind

March's two Law Journals of the Month were International Journal of Transitional Justice
and International Journal of Constitutional Law.
International Journal of Transitional Justice publishes high quality, refereed articles in the
rapidly growing field of transitional justice; that is the study of those strategies employed
by states and international institutions to deal with a legacy of human rights abuses and to
effect social reconstruction in the wake of widespread violence.
International Journal of Constitutional Law (I•CON) has international editorial and advisory
boards and an international focus. It examines an array of theoretical and practical issues
and offers critical analysis of current issues and debates. In addition, I•CON looks at global
trends that carry constitutional implications. It features scholarly articles by international
legal scholars, judges, and people from related fields, such as economics, philosophy, and

In February, our two Law Journals of the Month were Industrial Law Journal and
Journal of Intellectual Property Law .
Industrial Law Journal is established as the leading periodical in its field, providing comment
and in-depth analysis on a wide range of topics relating to employment law. It is essential
reading for practising lawyers, academics, and lay industrial relations experts to keep
abreast of newly enacted legislation and proposals for law reform.
Journal of Intellectual Property Law is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to intellectual
property law and practice. Published monthly, coverage includes the full range of
substantive IP topics, practice-related matters such as litigation, enforcement, drafting and
transactions, plus relevant aspects of related subjects such as competition and
world trade law.
January 2011
In January, our Law Journal of the Month format changed and in 2011 we will offer trial
access to two titles each month. To start off with a bang, the January Law Journals of
the Month included the four Law Yearbooks, which are new to Oxford Journals in 2011. The
Yearbooks include: British Year Book of International Law, Current Legal Problems,
Yearbook of International Environmental Law and Yearbook of European Law.
From January 2011 the law yearbooks from Oxford University Press, previously only
available in print, have become available online as well.
December 2010
December’s journal of the month was the Journal of International Criminal Justice.
The Journal of International Criminal Justice aims to promote a profound collective
reflection on the new problems facing international law.

October’s journal of the month was the Oxford Journal of Legal Studies.
The Oxford Journal of Legal Studies is published on behalf of the Faculty of Law in the
University of Oxford. It is designed to encourage interest in all matters relating to law,
with an emphasis on matters of theory and on broad issues arising from the relationship of
law to other disciplines. No topic of legal interest is excluded from consideration.
In addition to traditional questions of legal interest, the following are all within the
purview of the journal: comparative and international law, the law of the European
Community, legal history and philosophy, and interdisciplinary material in areas of
relevance.
